These three unique and delightful miner's cottages located in Victoria's beautiful and iconic "first gold town" provide comfortable and economical rental accommodation enabling you to experience the real Clunes. Dating from 1867 your fully self-contained cottage is equipped with everything for a memorable overnight or longer stay. Visit the local IGA Supermarket, self-cater, bring back a "take away pack" or order a substantial "Continental Breakfast Basket" of supplies. "Dine in" or "eat out" from Breakfast onwards at the many and varied eateries in Clunes or the surrounding towns of Ballarat, Daylesford, Hepburn Springs, Creswick, Maryborough or Talbot.
The Cottages
Gayford's Cottages @ Clunes can provide for singles, couples, group or family bookings in these options:

Additionally, if needed, free stretcher beds can be placed to sleep accompanying children in all cottages. There is no additional tariff for Wesley students while staying with visiting parents. Bedding, fresh linen and towels are provided for each option. There are open fires to enjoy in winter besides all the electrical and/or LPG heating provided, a split system in "Honeysuckle Cottage" and "Albert & Ethel's Cottage", hair dryers and clock radios, TV with DVD and CD slots and full laundry facilities. A piano is in "Jessica's Cottage".
Rates
Tariffs are purposefully kept modest and affordable and range from $99 per cottage night (tradies discount) midweek, for two or more nights to a maximum of $129 (one night on a weekend). Off season weekly and midweek packages can even be less.
Location
Gayford's Cottages @ Clunes are located at 83 Service Street, Clunes, diagonally opposite the Railway Station and near the Clunes Medical Clinic. They are right opposite the 60 k.p.h. speed restriction and Clunes town-ship signs on entering Clunes from Ballarat through Miners Rest (not Creswick) on the Maryborough Road. Each cottage has a separate entrance and parking space in Sutherland Street.
